The highlight of Motorola’s announcement on Tuesday was the arrival of its high-end smartphone Moto Edge 30 in Brazil. But he’s not the only one. For those looking for a more affordable and well-performing option, the company has the Moto G82 here as well.
The device offers a more advanced and modern user experience, but it’s not top-of-the-line because it has some more basic specs such as processor and memory. Additionally, Motorola has confirmed that other devices will arrive in Brazil in the coming weeks, such as the Moto G62 and Moto G42. Learn more about them.

The Moto G82 is another intermediate option in Brazil
As a mid-ranger, the Moto G82 has simpler specs compared to the Moto Edge 30, but still promises very advanced performance for those looking for a device in this range.
Its processor isn’t the latest, it’s the Snapdragon 695, which is also found in other company devices, such as the Moto G71 and Moto G71s. Additionally, it offers 6GB of RAM, which may not be the largest on the market, but still offers great performance and 128GB of storage. This space can be increased by using a micro SD card up to 1 TB.
The exterior of the device also has a more sophisticated footprint, very close to the design of the company’s premium models. This includes a camera module with rounded corners and black and white color options.
Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the Moto G82 is its screen. It’s a 6.6-inch OLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Its strength is support for a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, which ensures smoother navigation and even helps in games.
In addition, the screen has a 10-bit color depth, which ensures the display of 1 billion chroma, making the picture more realistic and beautiful. Stereo sound is provided by Dolby Atmos technology.
As for the cameras, the new Motorola smartphone comes with three groups on the back. The main sensor is 50 MP with optical image stabilization, paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with a 118-degree field of view and a 2 MP macro sensor. The selfie camera has a 16 MP sensor on the front.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, supports 30 W fast charging, and comes with a charger in the box at the time of purchase. The Moto G82 also comes with a headphone jack and a protective case, both included in the box.
It ships with the new Android 12 running the company’s MyUX 3.0 interface. In terms of connectivity, it is compatible with 5G internet, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, FM radio, P2 connector for wired headphones, and a fingerprint reader that has been integrated into the side power button.
Motorola also confirms the arrival of the Moto G62 and Moto G42
In addition to launching the two models in the Brazilian market this week, Motorola has also announced that it will launch two more smartphones in the coming weeks. The company has assured the arrival of the Moto G62 and Moto G42 in Brazil after many rumours that have already pointed to the event.
Unfortunately, she didn’t confirm any more specific details about the Moto G62, but it’s already rumored to have an idea. It is expected to come with 5G connectivity and a more modest processor, the Snapdragon 480 Plus. This processor is Qualcomm’s most entry-level model that supports 5G. It is also expected to feature a 6.5-inch screen that also offers up to 120 MHz refresh rate, Dolby Atmos stereo sound and a triple-camera array with a 50 MP primary sensor. The battery should be 5,000 mAh.
As for the Moto G42, Motorola still brought some information about its specs. As the most common of the two phones, this smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 4G processor, which is very similar in performance to the Snapdragon 480 Plus, except that it does not support 5G networks. The screen will be 6.4-inch OLED and Full HD+ resolution, and it will also feature Doly Atmos sound, triple cameras with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery, just like its sibling.
Regarding colors, the Moto G2 can be purchased in Brazil in green or graphite options, while the Moto G42 will be available in blue and pink.

The Motorola Moto G82, launched in Brazil, is already on sale with a suggested price of R$ 2,999 and is available in black or white. The Moto G62 and Moto G42 don’t actually have a firm arrival date, nor is their price.
