This Abracom-RS (Association of Brazilian Communications Agencies, Rio Grande do Sul State Division) held a public meeting on June 22 at the FGV Decision Conference in Porto Alegre to discuss one of the newest topics in the digital world: the metaverse. The event will feature the “Confidence and Credibility in the Age of Metaverse” lecture, which will be moderated by publicist Luciana Vidigal and will bring together entities from Rio Grande do Sul, entities related or not, as well as communications and marketing Professionals from the country..
A term used to denote a virtual world that attempts to replicate reality through digital devices, Metaverse is also considered a shared collective and virtual space made up of the sum of “virtual reality,” “augmented reality,” and the Internet.
Born in São Paulo, Luciana Vidigal Solid career of over 30 years in planning and executing communications strategies. His professional background comes from a major communications agency, where he has worked for over 9 years in customer service, media, promotions, press relations and events. Following this experience, he chose to undertake and open his own communications agency, Perspectiva Comunicação, where he worked for over 18 years with major brands in several industries, such as: agribusiness, human and animal food, automotive, associations (joint associations and institutions), consumption, etc.
“Because of the level of innovation, the expectations and doubts about the Metaverse will be huge. That’s why credibility and trust will be the most valuable currencies in the Metaverse. Both will guide the consumer journey and they will face a Series of disruptive possibilities that are unknown and might even be considered terrifying at first,” Luciana said.
The meeting is part of Abracom’s operations in Rio Grande do Sul, led by journalist and businesswoman Martha Becker, who was appointed in April this year for the 2022/2024 biennium. “Providing rich and up-to-date content like this strengthens us as an association in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where our main challenge is to mobilize all corporate communications agencies so that together we can determine the best path for our industry, which We are currently going through a period of digital transformation and acceleration,” declares Martha Becker.
